Usage of iGPIB chip enhanced mode in driver provides:
Full synchronous operation, by chip design
510 byte FIFO for handling complete SCPI strings in one step.
Hardware Time-out counter.
Extended EOS byte handling.
Supports any application that uses VISA / SICL (Standard Instruments Control Library), for example HP VEE, HP BASIC, LabVIEW and HT Basic.
Plug&Play compatible following the PCI specification.
